Nag Inspired By Chiru and Amitabh

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

Nagarjuna implies that he got inspired by his senior actors Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan. After a few days of Nagarjuna’s 20 year career celebrations, today a reporter asked him if he wishes to relax now. Answering to the same Nag said, “I don’t relax and retire from acting. Like Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan, who are still working with the same vigor on par with their first films, I wish to keep on working”. Well, that’s the inspiration he took from those two stars. Well, Nag and Chiranjeevi could act together in the film ‘Style’ in guest appearances. But they weren’t in same frames of the film.

Ash also has a porn star look-alike

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

First it was Mallika Sherawat, whose Spanish porn star look-alike Lolly, made headlines when one of her adult movie clips made to the MMS circuit. Now it’s actress Aishwarya Rai who is making waves, not just all over the world, but also on the World Wide Web. The actress has become the most sought after face on the voyeur circuit with a record breaking number of websites dedicated to her ‘nude’ pictures. While most of the pictures are badly morphed images using the actress’s film stills, one site has many thrill seekers fooled. The site has been getting a record number of hits, ever since Aishwarya became popular on the international circuit. The link to this website did the rounds on email recently with a message that says: ‘Want to know what India’s top actress Aishwarya Rai is working on in Hollywood?’ The link takes the viewer to the site showing pictures and clips of a south American looking porn star who bears a striking resemblance to the actress, but the site claims that it is the actress herself. Mohit Hirwani, an assistant director who received the link says, “At first you get a shock, because the girl who is seen engaged in hard-core pornography looks a lot like Aishwarya Rai. But most of the clips show her with her eyes closed. There’s one where her eyes are open and it’s clearly not the actress.” Another set of pictures doing the rounds claims that they are ‘authentic’ shots of Aishwarya’s audition for a Hollywood production, and they show the light-eyed beauty engaged in a sexual act with a very Indian looking man. But Ash fans don’t take any of this seriously. “There are morphed pictures of all Bollywood actresses available online. Why single out Aishwarya Rai? People are always looking for ways to cash in on anyone who’s in the news” says Aditya Prasad, a business executive. Courtesy: deccan

Fanaa Tickets Booked One Month in Advance

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

The talk of the film ‘Fanaa’ is just average and at a few places it was declared a flop. But still the collections are great for the film. The tickets were booked one month in advance at the Multiplex Theater in Hyderabad, which is considered to be the main theater for the film. In fact, the tickets were booked on the first day of its release. Critics say that it’s only the craze for Aamir Khan with his previous hits like ‘Rang De Basanti’ is pulling the audiences to theaters, despite negative talk. Thus, the negative talk hardly affects the heroes who bag continuous hits.

Another Stunning Beauty in the Lines of Laya and Sobhana

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

Smitha Madhav, turned the heads of critics playing the role of Sitha, at the age of 10, in the film ‘Ramayanam’. She hasn’t been on silver screen since then. She pursued a degree in Law and on parallel lines did a lot in dance and Carnatic music. She has got unique credits in the field of dance, music and acting. She only acted in a Hindi Tele serial, ‘Kalapoornodayam’, of ‘Doordarshan’.
Now, she is getting ready to be a heroine. The well educated girl from a very well-off family can only zero in on a right project that suits her taste. She is now playing a role in the film ‘Vengamamba’, the publicity of which hasn’t touched the tinsel town.
The directors who have the record of making decent films and projecting heroines in dignified manner only can offer the role for this multi talented girl. Let us see if at least the directors like Neelakanta and Sekhar Kammula would bring this girl on to silver screen.
If she hits the screen with right career plan, she would be another Sobhana or Laya for Telugu screen. Sometimes, she looks like Asin, as many say. Anyway, this girl, who can speak sweet Telugu, deserves a prominent place on Telugu silver screen.

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

Actress Khushboo appeared on the banner of News Papers and tabloids with her most hot statement supporting pre-marital sex, little while ago. Later the issue turned silent and she was again in news with the matter of her morphed semi nude photographs published by the magazine, Maxim. In fact, that was settled with gentleman agreement and the issue was closed outside the court a few days back.
Freshly, Khushboo is again trying to be in news by supporting the actor Aamir Khan, who turned a villain for many people in Gujarat with his mere statement. That’s all about Narmada Bachao Andolan, and his film ‘Fanaa’ was banned in Gujarat.
Now, just to rise to the occasion and turn the heads of media, Khushboo gave a statement stating that what Aamir Khan said is right in the matter of Narmada Bachao.
Well, many actresses like Madhu Sharma, Jyothy and all tried to lift the media mileage by talking in support of Khushboo in the matter of pre-marital sex. Now, Khusboo is doing the same in the matter of Aamir Khan.
