Neither time nor tide in Telugu Industry has waited for Bhoomika. When accolades for her extraordinary performance in ‘Missamma’ were storming her, she did not care to do more roles in Telugu Films. She tried to ascend similar heights in bollywood instead and left for Mumbai. She couldn’t make a firm foothold in Hindi Industry and came back to Hyderabad. But she had fallen in love with a Yoga master in the interregnum. After teaching all the postures in Yoga, he disappeared. The forlorn lady lost her charm due to stress and distress. She wants to resume her career in Telugu, mustering all her mental strength. Many pretty and talented gals have already replaced her in Telugu films. However, Bhoomika is Bhoomika. Telugu Directors still consider talent a virtue.

Simbu is known for Telugus as ‘Manamadha’. The film tuned successful and he is again hitting with the film ‘Rudrudu’ on 1st Sptember. Sonia Agarwal is pairing up with him in the film. Addala Venkat Rao dubbed the film in Telugu that was made on the banner of Sree Surya Movies in Tamil. “Recently I watched the preview of Telugu version. Although I made it in Tamil, I felt as if watching a straight Telugu film. Dubbing sank well”, said Hari, the director of the film. Action episodes of the film were directed by Super Subbarayan. In fact, the people who watched the preview said that Simbu is looking rich in the film while Sonia Agarwal is fresh, sensuous and spicy. Well, this would be a visual treat for mass audiences if these elements are rightly blended.

Film with PV Narasimha Rao’s Story!

‘Golla Ramana’ is the story written by PV Narasimha Rao when he was young. The story was penned almost in 40s. That was based on the Violent Telangana Movement and the theme was just an incident that took place on a night. Now, Alladi Sreedhar is making a film with that theme on the banner of Tangutoori Productions. This pre-independent story is now set to roll on the celluloid. The title of the film is going to be ‘Oka Raathri’ and Dr Tanguturi Prithiviraj is producing the film. The shooting of the film would start with renowned artistes from the second week of September. Popular writer Devi Priya is penning dialogues for the film. Madhu Mahankali is going behind the camera and Telanagana folk singer Bhoopal is scoring music.

Kamalini Mukherjee’s Good Bye for Films!

Kamalini Mukherjee has given a stunning statement saying that she is quitting film industry. As astonishment she came out with this statement in Chennai after looking at the good response for her Tamil debut ‘Vetayadu Veliyadu’ beside Kamal Hasan. She said that she is happy with what she bagged so far. She got good recognition with Telugu films ‘Anand’ and ‘Godavari’ and also happy with the result of her Tamil debut. She says that she is inclined to take up modeling assignments again, which she gave up from quite a long time due to film projects. She is at present getting many film offers from Telugu, Hindi and Tamil industries. But she decided to give a pause, if not quitting permanently. She said that she would continue with films once she is back from modeling. Let’s hope that she comes back soon.

Sneha May Become Droupadi In ‘Narthanashala’

It has been long time ever since the film ‘Narthanashala’ was shelved after the miserable demise of Soundarya. Balakrishna started the project with all vigor and the film was also on sets for sometime. While Sarath Babu started playing the role of Dharma Raju, Sree Hari was Bheema as well.
But in plane mishap, Soundarya, who was playing Droupadi in the film passed away.
Now, grapevine says that Balakrishna is rethinking to restart the project as soon as the completion of present film on the banner of Lalitha Kalanjali Productions. Unofficial sources said that Balakrsihna is considering Sneha for the role of Droupadi in the film. In fact, that is the best choice left for him.
At this moment, Balakrishna certainly needs a change over from routine mass stuff to mythology. Well, the news is yet to be confirmed by official sources.

What’s Rajni Kanth After ‘Shivaji’?

Now, the grapevine is slowly transforming into news. Rajni Kanth is going to become busy with the film ‘Panduranga Mahatyam’ in the direction of Raghavendra Rao. The film is going to be made directly in Telugu and would be dubbed in Tamil as well.
But the news is that Rajni Kanth is playing the guest role in the film while Mohan Babu is playing the lead role. As both these stars are good rinds from long back, Rajni Kanth agreed to the project without second thought.
To sum up, this is the next film after ‘Pedarayudu’ in which Rajni Kanth is playing guest role in a Telugu film.
This is the news leaked from the reliable sources in Film Nagar. The project would go on to sets as soon as Rajni Kanth completes his ‘Shivaji’. Meanwhile the project would complete other part in which Rajni need not play the role.
