Jayamalini’s Daughter Learning Dance!

Jayamalini, a synonym to Club dancer in Telugu films, has a pretty daughter of fourteen years.
She is taking dance classes with lot of devotion. When asked about her possible entry into films, Jayalamalini said a blunt ‘NO’. She said she and her sister Jyothilakshmi had enough bitter experiences as dancers in the films. She doesn’t want to make her daughter to undergo all those sufferings and insults. She said her daughter was learning dance as a part of physical exercise only. What insults the dancing sisters have undergone remain secret.

Venkatesh Blesses Yesteryear’s Heroine!

Nadia, a heroine of recent past, is ready for her second innings in Telugu films- not certainly as a heroine.

She can contend herself if she is offered the roles of elderly women. When she was a heroine in both Tamil and Telugu films, she didn’t come close to any Telugu hero. She made only Tamil heroes as her intimate friends. Arjun ranked one in the list. Leaving her affairs behind, she married an NRI and went to US to live with him. As her relation with her husband strained, she came back to India and looked out for films. Arjun came to her rescue. Her efforts have given fruits in Tamil Industry first. He also started telephoning to many Telugu heroes to accommodate her in their films. Hero Venkatesh responded first and saw she was given the role of sister-in-law in ‘Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Veruley’. Arjun’s fascination for her is still alive. He is her true boy friend in need.

Earlier few of her photos have made rounds through various websites but now she updated her version and added many photos to that. ‘Boss’ Climax to Undergo Trimming!

Nagarjuna’s ‘Boss’ released yesterday and that got good reviews for first half where the second half was troubled.

Grapevine says that a trimming activity is in pipeline for the film ‘Boss’. Opinions from all segments of audiences has come out that the climax of the film has turned too long. Rumors say that the arrangements are being done to do some editing work for the film. A song, a flash back and a fighting sequence are about to cut down in scissoring after trimming. Well, the news is yet to be confirmed by official sources.

Prabha Says ‘Hot’ Things To Journalists!

Prabha, a heroine of yesteryears, feels sorry for not being young.

If she were smart and young enough, she thinks she would capture all the opportunities, which the younger ones are enjoying. She is envious of the remunerations they are taking. She is cursing herself for having born much early. She believes she had a good figure when she was young, but she could only get her remuneration in hundred and thousands, not in millions. Exposing has been never a problem to her but none of her directors has ever insisted upon it. Having finished of her dancing tour, she has come to Hyderabad. She revealed her heart, when a few reporters had informal chat with her. She still wishes to play the roles suitable to her age. She, however, admits that she is not as sexy as the elderly women who are playing the roles of aunts and sisters at present.

Manju Bhargavi’s Hot Affair With Young Guy!

Manju Bhargavi is lucky enough to find a boy who is much younger than her to live together.
She shot into fame with the film ‘Sankarabharanam’ thirty five years ago. When she was a rising star, she fell in love with Gundu Rao, the then Minister in Karnataka State. Their affair continued till Rao breathed his last. After his death, she started a dance school and remained teacher for quite a long time. The boy, who was also her pupil, fell deeply in love with her. Though the boy’s parents forcibly separated him from her and married off to some other gal, his love for Manju didn’t die. He deserted his married wife and came back to Manjubhargavi’s school. They are not only living together but also planning a TV serial in Kannada with a theme based on dance.

Miss India World gets second best odds!

Warsaw, Sep 27:Miss India World Natasha Suri is one of the top three favourites at the Miss World 2006 event here Saturday.

But when it comes to beauty pageants, Venezuela is often the first country to come to mind, with a rather impressive representation year after year. Miss World 2006 is no different. The betting odds for Miss World competition this year have Miss Venezuela leading the pack with odds one to six, followed by Miss India, Miss Australia and Miss Czech Republic 15 to two. But one has to feel for the likes of Miss Tanzania, Miss Tahiti, Miss Mongolia, Miss Ghana and Miss St Lucia - all with the worst odds. Both Miss England and Miss USA are not in an enviable position either. Ever since Hugo Chavez has become the president in 1999, no Venezuelan beauty has been crowned Miss World. Punters are waiting if this contest is going to be a windfall for Chavez or not. India is also a heavy producer of Miss World winners, prevailing three times in the last decade, the latest victory coming when Priyanka Chopra reigned in 2000. Heavy betting is made in Poland these days and there is a big race between Miss Venezeula and Miss India. However, Miss Australia may upset the result. Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar is going to be one of the judges for the contest.

‘Boss’- Old Wine Served With New Taste

‘Boss’ is an old theme that is served in new taste and flavor.

This is the talk that is spreading wild about the new film ‘Boss’. Even earlier, it was told that the film would be a mix of the flavors in Manmadhudu and Santhosham. Nag himself says, “Although the film is worked on old style of plot, it’s completely fresh and new now. I inclined to do the project only after knowing the narration details”. Well, the film is hitting the screen in a few hours and going to spell out what really the film has in it. Nag also adds, “The film has 5 heroines. And that is more than enough to speak about commercial punch”, and laughs.
