Saying in this connection Chiranjeevi says, “It would really be a good thing if they compare with the characters I played in Rudraveena, Challenge, Vijetha and Stalin. Where Is Nitin’s’Satyam-Shivam-Sundaram’?

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

Nitin has been walking on rough rocks from quite a long time. He has hardly seen any success in recent times. Ever since the film ‘Dhairyam’, his career graph has been in down trend. Rubbing the wrong side of image-building with mass appealing films turned a bane for him. His film ‘Raam’ was shunned by audiences only with that reason.
Even his father Sudhakar Reddy is pushing him to be on forward slot but time is not working in favor. The film ‘Satyam Sivam Sundaram’ was made long back but has been pausing to release for many reasons.
Apart from this, grapevine said that Nitin denied a proposal from EVV Satyanarana to act in the film ‘Parijatam’ saying that he is looking out for mass flicks. Well, the fresh rumor is that Allari Ravi Babu is about to make a film with Nitin in lead role. We have wait for few more days to get complete news on this aspect.

YSR gets hint on mid-term polls to LS?

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Are the mid-term elections to Lok Sabha round the corner? Well, according to sources, Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy received a hint to this effect from the Congress high command. According to CMO sources, the Chief Minister is learnt to have told his Cabinet colleagues a couple of days ago that the Congress high command is contemplating mid-term elections to Lok Sabha sometime in April or May, if it gets to power in Uttar Pradesh elections due in February, 2007. The Congress might not get an absolute majority in UP elections, but even if forms a coalition government there, Sonia Gandhi is planning to go in for mid-term elections to Lok Sabha. The Congress would be in a better position to get more number of seats in Lok Sabha then, since the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies in the NDA would be down and out by then. Her intention is that the Congress should not be in a position to succumb to blackmail tactics of the UPA allies and the Left parties. But all that she is worried is about the Congress position in Andhra Pradesh. It has sent 30 Congress MPs to Lok Sabha and any fall in the number of seats would weaken the Congress at the national level. That is why she sounded Dr Rajasekhar Reddy and asked him to improve the position of the party in the State.

Jr NTR to Speak In Hindi

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Last Year Jr.NTR`s movie ‘Narasimhudu’ was bombed at the box office miserably.

That happened due to several issues.
Now some of the Hindi Producers are here to dub this in to Hindi. Thus we can see Jr NTR speaking Hindi on screen. Indeed, with some other’s voice. ‘Narasimhudu’ is a very big loss maker for its producer.
But there is something to cheer up for him. Hindi Actors Amisha Patel and Sameera reddy are the lady loves for the hero in the film. This is the strong point which attracted Hindi Producers to dub the movie.
Both Ameesha and Sameera have enough recognition among Hindi film viewers. Earlier the films like ‘Allari Pidugu’, ‘Vijayendra Varma’ and others also got dubbed into Hindi.
Nagarjuna’s ‘Annamayya’ also dubbed. Thus, a great deal of dubbing activity is going on from Telugu to Hindi these days.

Comedians Found Doing a Brothel Deed!

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

There was a place in Venkataramapuram colony of Hyderabad where the two senior comedians come on regular basis. That was an office of one of their common friends, who is known for film circles. He is the supplier of junior artistes and also goes sometimes ‘beyond’. He is also acting like a pimp for some as per internal sources. Locals living in that place say that if a proper sting operation was done, it is very easy to trap these comedians red handedly. The office itself has turned a place of unfair things. The ladies who are in want of money and who get easily carried away by the colors of film industry are turning prey for these comedians and their pimp. Indeed, film industry has everything in it! Good, bad and ‘Ugly’. While the aspirants are struggling to find roles in films, seniors who are earning big are now living ‘extremely happy’.

Rumours on Chiranjeevi politics again!

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

A report published in a Telugu daily that Megastar Chiranjeevi has changed his mind to keep himself away from politics and developed second thoughts has triggered panic among the other political parties. There have been enquiries from the MLAs to mediapersons as to what is the truth behind the report, since they strongly feel that there would be no smoke without fire. Chiranjeevi himself did not condemn the news report so far – May be he is not surprised at this, as there were several such speculative reports in the past or he might be really thinking in that line.
Sources close to the daily said Chiranjeevi had indeed enquired with some of his close friends about the present political situation, in the wake of large scale allegations of corruption against Y S Rajasekhar Reddy government. Chiranjeevi is understood to have expressed deep concern over the rampant corruption prevailing in the government and said there is every need to cleanse the system. He also reportedly enquired about the response to Lok Satta.
All these factors must have fuelled the speculations that Chiranjeevi is deeply thinking of a political alternative in the State. But so far, there are no hints from that end.

Jayaprada shares: ‘It’s First Time with Balakrishna’

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Jayaprada is hitting the silver screen again after a long hibernation of about 4 years. She says that she is happy to be back on to Telugu screen. She has been busy with politics all the while and now focusing on acting again.

She shares her views freshly on her present and future projects.
Maharadhi:
I got a very good character in the film Maharadhi. The film revolves around me and I portrayed a role of self confident and self respecting person. I run a Music school in the film. ‘Chandrmakuhi’ Vasu molded the character very well. After watching his Chandramukhi, I though that I should act in his direction. That turned true just in one year.
First Time with Balakrishna:
I’m acting first time with Balakrishna. Although not as heroine, my role goes with glamour here. Earlier I acted with great actor NTR. Now, I’m happy to act with his son as well.
Why Films Again:
I acted in many films under many directors right from Satyajit Re, K Vishwanadh, Dasari Narayana Rao, K. Raghavendra Rao to many others. I still have the enthusiasm to act in more films. I was just awaiting right roles.
Present Films:
I’m doing two films in Hindi. One is in the direction of Goutham Ghosh and the other one is ‘Level Crossing’ in the direction of Kitu Ghosh. I’m going to make the film ‘Mahachandi’ on my own banner and JK Bharavi is penning script for the same. I have also plans to do ‘Kannagi’ in Tamil as well.
